As much as I enjoyed last night, I wasn't so keen on the early start. My mate who I was staying with gets up at 5.30am for work, meaning I had to leave the house too at that time. Long journey back, not helped by as massive accident on the A1 which meant I was stationary for about an hour and a half.
This week I am mostly doing shows, but luckily today I wasn't needed in the office for freelance stuff so I could catch up on boring things; washing, changing my sheets, normal stuff. And generally acted like a tired zombie for a bit.
Managed to break the cigarette lighter in my car, which is a bugger because I kind of need it for my sat nav for the shows this week. I may actually have to use a map...for the first time. Oh dear.
Launched the first instalment of '4 Minutes...' and did some work on the novel. Got concerned about lack of promotion for tomorrow's show near Swindon, but the venue have assured me there will be a good turnout. I'm heading very much into the unknown with that one.
