Replied to a bunch of emails and then made the annoyingly long drive up to Louth. See, it shouldn't have been long - it's only 90 miles away, but it's a drive that's littered with speed cameras (huge thanks to Gary for the heads up about this) so it's pretty much 40 miles an hour the whole way.
Got there; fantastic venue - great hotel. Wonderful hospitality, lovely hotel room, amazing stuff. Audience of about 14 or so, but small performance space so it worked. A, shall we say, respectful audience - some big laughs, but mostly polite smiles, but generous tips afterwards. Lovely meal afterwards, a worthwhile adventure up in to deepest Lincolnshire.
