The good thing about being freelance is that sometimes you're just not in the mood for work, so you don't do it. I had the time this morning, but I just couldn't get my head into the social media zone, which is my current project, so instead I worked promoting the shows I have next week, replying to record label emails, backing up all of the film footage.
Then a long drive to Wolverhampton. Shouldn't have been long, but Friday traffic is ridiculous, and ended up being an hour later than planned. Still - lovely lounge show tonight around Penny's house. Performance dipped a bit in the middle, but they stuck with it. Generous with their tips, and I was put up in a very nice hotel. What's not to like?
Filmed the performance and watched it back in the hotel afterwards; it was so much stronger than the Cornwall show I filmed the other day, the bounce is back in the performance, which is a nice.
