Dragged my tired legs into the office to do a couple hours work; I like it there, they don't seem to mind that I look an absolute tired mess.
Confirmed some more gigs with the band, and also confirmed that some more stuff is clashing. My diary is one crazy thing at the moment, yet there's still more stuff I want to do. I will do it; this is what energy drinks were invented for.
3 hour drive to Coalbrookdale, hassle-free journey. Fantastic venue - lovely function room at the back of a quiet cafe up a steep hill that gave my car a bit of a challenge. Audience of 14 people, but it just felt right tonight; I enjoyed the space. I am pacing around on stage a lot more than I used to, sometimes I'm practically running about...this is a recent thing and I don't know why this is happening, but it seems to be working. Put loads of new bits into the second half of the show tonight, ideas I've been working on recently - just one liners, little extra flourishes. All of them worked, happy Paul.
3 hour drive home. Not bad, I mean - they closed half the roads again, but somehow it doesn't feel so bad when you've had great show and you've found your Galton & Simpson CD.
