Took the day out to take Mum to Great Yarmouth to look at a house she was potentially going to buy. She didn't like it, I don't blame her - horrible place. Worth the trip I guess just to rule it out, I never understood why she was keen in the first place.
Got back, continued clearing out my old room. Found an old record of Dad's, one that he played on. It's scratched to buggery, has lost it's sleeve, but means the world to me that I've found it. It just feels special, you know? I'm going to treasure this LP forever. And recreate it - put a band together, learn those songs, make a charity album. This project will need time, which I don't have right now, but I will soon.
Evening rehearsal with FH, mostly working on the set for the Vix-less gig we have coming up. Griff will be more than fine. Also rehearsed a couple brand new songs, which will see the light of day soon. They'll be for album 3, which we start recording in October. Album 2 officially comes out next month. I love the workrate of this band.
