Up early (for a drummer, at least) and filmed some soap scenes with Izzy and Josh. It's coming together nicely, they're both just really good actors and understand the characters, it was fun and easy. Lots more to do but it's slowly getting there. Really nice catch-up with Izzy afterwards, it's been a while as we're both so busy.
Then off to Hobeach Hurn (it is actually a real place, despite my concerns), house show. Full drums in a house? Yep. Audience really close to those loud drums? Yep. But it was great - what an audience, a fun and intimate gig (sold out, 43 people), brilliant hosts, lovely food. We did our standard near-2 hour set and were on fire. The kind of gig where you struggle to get out afterwards because everyone is so friendly. Amazing stuff, when we're on form like this we're unstoppable.
