Did an actual full day of freelancing (well, 10am - 4.30pm) from home, during this time I listened to a lot of radio comedy. Notably the audio version of 'One Foot in the Grave' - I've always thought of this sitcom to be on the darker side, but actually it's lot more sitcom-ee than I thought, There's a lot of actual, proper jokes in there. Also, every episode has so many layers, so much going on yet often it's just dialogue between two people. It's really very clever.
Scheduling for the soap is confusing me again. I just want to get this moving, there's so much to do. Sorting locations, that kind of thing all takes time I don't always have.
Edited the FH tour video, taking out the bits that shouldn't be public, and bunged it online.
Agreed to re-join Dowsing for the summer shows, now that our respective schedules match, and I appreciate how much they've moved around to accommodate me. That does take away another 7 nights though for rehearsals, plus 2 more gigs, but if they're working that hard to keep me it would be rude not to...
Evening working on the 4 Lab musical and I've finally worked out what the point of it should be. This basically involved changing the gender of the leads, so it's now female fronted, and it's got lots of nice dialogue already. Still nowhere near done, but I reckon I can have first draft in the bag after another 4 writing sessions.
