Up far too early for a musician - seriously, like 7.45am. It's been YEARS since I've done that. Anyway, it was worthwhile - filming in St Ives with Karen, a promo video for the new show. She's good, you know, and very quick; I had the finished product by the end of the evening.
Tied it in with a visit to Mum's house (for another two hours of "why haven't you given me grandchildren yet?") and then back for four hours of freelancing from home.
Rob sent me over a huge list of village halls to approach for solo stuff, so I've now approached all of them.
Confirmed a second Christmas tour date.
Lovely evening having dinner with Claudia and Marcel, discussing the progress of the 4 Lab musical. Having lost our Cambridge venue (did we ever really have it? Discussions were in such early stages) for the 'big' October performances we worked out new potential places, and decided to try and hire a West End venue for a few nights for some London shows. As you do.
That's the problem with having dinner with these guys; they just say yes to every mad idea I have. It's dangerous.
