Went into the office to do my day of freelancing, only to get an email from them telling me that nobody else was in today. Used the time well, got stuff done at least.
Then over to the band HQ, and off to Wokingham. Nearly a sold-out show which, considering we've never even heard of Wokingham before, was a bonus. Great venue, Phil is a brilliant promoter (and it's nice to have somebody to chat to about football because my bandmates aren't into it), cracking sound.
Slow start, I thought - at times it felt like we were playing in a library. At times it felt like a 'job', but then everyone seemed to wake up and the room was buzzing after about 45 minutes or so. Nice gig.
Long night, home by 2am.
