Got a royalty cheque yesterday that I wasn't expecting. Not a bad one, either. It's for something I wrote two years ago that has been selling somewhere, clearly. I just need to keep doing lots of stuff like this, it's still only pocket money really but pays for a few tanks of fuel and a cheeky Rustlers burger.
Woke up to a tweet with someone praising my drumming on an album I played on a few years back. That's nice...is this Richards Retro day or something?
Did a full day in the office, the alarming thing was just how good I seem to be at this job. That was never the plan, I'm an artist, a freelance, floating, creative dude. The boss likes what I'm doing for them, and rightly so, of course.
Had a date tonight. This blog isn't about that sort of thing, so won't say much. But I'm not very good at dates, just to confirm that.
