Ah, sleep, oh how I've missed you...slept in till 11am, before doing a bit of work on the musical and ate nice pizza. Good start to a Sunday.
Filming the 'Clive' stuff with Tom was really enjoyable, we're building each others' trust here I think. It's odd being in something that I've not written, and even stranger when I've been cast in the lead. Today it mostly involved me in a club trying to impress girls, and failing. As before, it's like I've been typecast...
But I know I do 'loser' well, and so does the writer. They hired out a working men's club in Cambridge and made it look convincing enough, it's a polished production.
Then dashed over to the BBC studios to record a live session with the band and have a chat with the lovely Sue. Really nice, that one, as a band now that the pressure of last night is off we just relaxed, enjoyed each others' company. Discussed recording dates for album number 3 - that'll start in October.
