Worked from home for a few hours, and then in the afternoon wrote the first two episodes of the Oscar Pike sitcom. I've achieved what I wanted to with this: I wanted it to be actually fun to write, not pressured, really short and really simple. Each episode can't be longer than 5 minutes I reckon, yet they still took bloody hours to write. Some of this content will go into the stage show version, which probably needs to be written very soon.
Evening gig with Claudia and band - I was so wrapped up in the writing that I didn't actually want to leave the house but I'm glad I did. It was lovely, cracking crowd, just so easy, you know? Another singer-songwriter who I like was in the audience and she was most praising of my skills...promptly asking me to play for her in the future. I'd love to, but another band is the last thing I need right now.
