Day off in Edinburgh. Met up with Helen for a picnic and proper 4 hour catch-up. She always has been, and always will be, one of my favourite people - we've known each other for eleven years and I've even written two plays about her (I think she knows this). 4 hours of joy, basically. Keen not leave it so long next time - have already agreed to stay at her new farm on the Scottish borders for a week after the fringe to, in her words, "eat veg and drink smoothies."
Then met up with my good buddy Adam, who is based in the city but couldn't make the show last night, for a couple beers and a spot of dinner.
Edinburgh is great, still haven't had my fringe offer yet (as much as quite a few of my comedy friends have...alarm bells starting to ring) but hope to be back here for the full three weeks in August.
