We shouldn't have drank so much whisky last night.
Bit of a kip, and then drove to Wales. I considered it to be 'deepest Wales' but my Welsh Facebook friends seemed offended by that because it's just outside of Cardiff. Still, had to drive down a load of hills and there was no phone signal or WiFi so pretty deep as far as I was concerned.
Loving driving the Volvo, it may be 19 years old but it's so smooth, just so easy.
Venue was an arts centre, and we got to stay in an amazing castle. Just a quick reminder that life is good. Who else gets to stay in a haunted castle, for free, as part of their job? I had an amazing room, haunted or not haunted, and they looked after us really well - great food throughout and the soundcheck was lovely.
Gig was a cracker; we were really on it tonight. When we have a nice dressing room and a soundguy we trust these shows are just easy. Lovely show.
