No sleep - it's impossible to sleep in a bed that size. My legs were actually in the air when I woke up.
Train to Aberdeen and then walked over to my venue for an afternoon show. How was this ever going to work? 3pm performance, in a busy, big cafe full of people on laptops, having conversations and...just not expecting a comedian? The venue were expecting me, but hadn't really told anyone about it.
I'd agreed to do a one-act version of the show today, 50 minutes or so, so basically a best of. Started, was mostly ignored, won a few over thanks to hastily throwing in a game of 'name that tune on a box' and the Grace/Tracey song combo helped, but it was mostly a struggle. Got through it, it could have been a lot worse.
Ran through the streets of Aberdeen, which is a really grubby place with just *so much* vomit, everywhere in the streets.
Made my ferry, 14 hour overnight trip to the Shetlands. Wasn't sick, many were.
