Could really do with some sleep. No chance; up early as dad wanted to see the Ian Anderson footage so I had to drive over to St Ives to show him. After spending a couple hours doing family stuff, I then drove over to Barton for band rehearsals - sessions with Adam, who is depping with us as we're now without Lachy. Adam's great, we'll be fine. Whole band feels knackered, but we're excited about some touring we're doing next week.
Then dashed back, showered and headed over to Maldon for tonight's 'Inadequate Man' performance. My landlord Edd also joined me, adding double bass to the show - it worked. The whole thing was just lovely tonight, really nailed the performance, Nikki and Barrie who run the night are amazing hosts - lovely dressing room, snacks/drinks rider, they promote their events well. The audience were really nice, up for it, I tried out some new lines and they worked a treat. Best performance of it yet by some distance. Stunning building. I would just like to do shows there every night, please.
