Pretty much done for the year now with the teaching and, as much as I enjoy it, I'm looking forward to having a short break from it for a few weeks.
The day started with drama as A got rushed into A+E having badly burnt herself on the kettle. Having got her home safely, I then dashed down to the school to watch my drummers play at the Christmas concert. They were all so great today, even the ones who aren't usually, they just all upped their game when their parents were watching...
Taught my final private lesson of the year (it was fine), and then A and myself went to see a fabulous cabaret/folk/dance Christmas show, which isn't usually my sort of thing but really worked.
