Up far too early for a Saturday, but as always this student is a joy and I had a fun time working on some Motown grooves with him. The next student was reluctant but his dad ended up taking a chunk of the lesson, as always, and everyone seems happy.
Home for a short while and then back out with FH for an early soundcheck in Milton Keynes. Lovely, if unconventional venue, but decent sound guy and good company. The gig was a sellout and was very rowdy, and very festive. Long story, but I ended up playing most of it in a Rudolph onesie and was a sweaty mess throughout.
Good times.
