Up early and off to the nice primary school, where the lessons went quickly and everyone seems happy with what I'm doing.
Cashed in my wages, replied to about 15 emails about shows and then off to the next school.
Quick private lesson which was honestly one of my most favourite things ever. The student is 9, and he had a girl over who he wanted to impress. He played drums for her (the two songs he's doing at the gig next week) and she was smiling a lot...it's just all so lovely. The mum was very proud. We're making dreams happen, here.
Met up with A and over to watch an Agatha Christie play, which wasn't normally my sort of thing but the production was awesome and I was totally gripped for two hours.
Got back to a lovely email confirming that I have been accepted into a fringe festival in Finland! 186 applications from overseas and I'm one of the few international acts they've booked...life is exciting, sometimes, isn't it?
