Some of the venues for my Christmas tour are getting really excited about the show...haven't even started to write it yet but I've ordered my reindeer costume for the press shots. Still need 2 more venues to justify it as a tour.
Struggling to get a venue for the musical as NOBODY FUCKING REPLIES TO ANY EMAILS EVER. But we'll sort one, I'm sure.
Nice catch up with Owen from the TV channel, discussed sketch show plans and agreed to write/perform 10 minutes of brand new stand-up for next Wednesday, which will be filmed and then broadcast two weeks later.
Dowsing rehearsal after that was really great, just what I needed. I'm really stressed at the moment, but those rehearsals are great for me - top musicians, lovely company. I do look stressed, and a bit flustered with the world (mostly down to dad's health stuff) and that will probably explode at the next gig...luckily for us, somebody is making a TV documentary about the whole gig/recording thing we have coming up. Me falling apart will make good telly, at least.
