Up too early for a Saturday, far too early. Off to Bracknell for an afternoon, indoor festival gig. The Wilde Theatre is stunning - the sort of venue I'd be keen to play in every night.
Great gig - great sound, packed audience, we were looked after so well. It was billed as a folk festival but we were quite far removed from folk. They enjoyed it all the same. Set: Fine Life, Face in the Water, Bluebird, California for a Girl, Standing Next to Me, Ghost Town, Shut Up & Dance, Beautiful You.
Then met up with my mate Andy and got drunk.
Louise, Martin, Trevor, Anna and Geoff have all said yes to writing songs for the Christmas musical; Jo and Karina are too busy which is fair enough. Still - 5 songwriters, should be fine.
