Now I've had a break from it, I really want to do my Inadequate Man show again - I have one lounge show coming up (a mate's housewarming) but would be quite nice to go on stage properly and bash it out a few more times before the madness of the Christmas shows kick in...sent over a hundred emails today trying to get just a run of four or five shows. This is the last time I'll do things this way; the next tour I'll book is for the Make or Break... show which will be for arts centres/bigger venues. They'll reply more than these cafes/unconventional venues do because I'll basically be hiring the venues.
Agreed to a meeting about those commercials, the writer seems really excited about the scripts. They've offered money, I'll go along with it.
Dropped off the hard-drive around Karen's house with all of the footage on, all scenes numbered to correspond with my excessive notes. Felt quite sad handing this one over, and also slightly worried because she's a real filmmaker.
Spent some stressful hours with my parents. Dad is doing "really well" according to the nurse, but he really isn't enjoying being alive at the moment with all the pain he's in.
Went to see 'Legend' in the cinema with Rebecca. Intricate, brilliant film, that makes me realise that cinematically at least my own film might be the theatrical equivalent of You've Been Framed. Bit worried now.
