The traffic annoyed me today, I spent a few hours sat in it when they closed the A14 and my sat nav wasn't up for the idea of a new route. Still, did give me time to think, and then I thought of the BEST IDEA EVER which I'll now shoehorn into my novel. It will be my breakthrough, it will change novels forever, etc, etc.
Got turned down by a big fancy theatre for the musical due to the timescale, which was a shame, but the venue manager (who is a good friend of a good friend of mine) is up for a meeting to discuss a musical next year. Could be awesome? It's fucking huge, though. In the meantime, need to find somewhere suitable for this year's show.
Chatted further to the cinema about the '50 Ways...' premiere and I have a meeting with them a week on Monday.
Only 2 shows away from confirming a full run for the Christmas show.
Evening played a corporate gig, which was a typical corporate gig in the sense that we played quite terribly, but everyone loved it. Easy money, really easy money.
