Woke up this morning to a voicemail saying my grandmother, 84, has passed on. Deeply saddened by this, as you would expect.
Having spoken to the family, I agreed to carry on and play the gig tonight as scheduled. Great gig, naturally my mood was a little down, but we played really well. Maidenhead is bloody miles away! Well, it felt like it. Lovely arts centre venue, cracking audience. This set feels great; this will probably end up being the standard tour setlist.
