Been reading a book about hospital staff having to work over Christmas and it got to me a little. Here we are, stressing about where we spend Christmas Eve (her parents' place) or Christmas Day (my mums) when these poor guys have to work, all of it. Have decided to put on a show to raise money for the staff at A+E at the local hospital. Confirmed a venue easily enough...
A couple hours at the new school where it just feels...I don't know, nobody is excited about drum lessons. They should be. The staff are friendly but communication is non-existent and it's all a little flat. We'll see.
5 private lessons (first one - awesome, second one - distracted and messy, third one - fine, fourth one - awesome, fifth one - flew by) and then home by 9pm to carry on plotting this gig...
