Where is this year going? Cliched, I know, but slow down, please.
Friday morning at my favourite school was lovely, and lively, everyone's just very excited but it's such a nice environment to teach in. Dropped off some wages in town and then off to my other favourite school to teach two hours of Christmas songs.
Saw mum for half an hour, and then two private lessons (first one: excellent, second one: kid too chatty but he'll be fine for the gig). And then a third one, but the student forgot it was happening, so we just did half an hour of running over the gig stuff.
Over to Pascale's for her birthday, where we all got drunk in a very messy sort of way. Got chatting to some comedians, which was weird as it wasn't that sort of party - it was full of scientists, but we had long, deep, interesting conversations that I enjoyed very much. No way I'm going back to stand-up, though.
