I'm really starting to like my 'new' school (the one I took on at the end of last term, so not my newest but they haven't started yet...I know, it's confusing). First day back after the summer and I really feel like I belong there; the headmaster helps me carry in my drums, the business director has more schools for me if I want them (it may take a bit of substantial schedule jigging but we'll see) and the kids are really on it. This will be great.
Three private lessons followed (first one: kid is struggling, he's lost interest but parents still keen, second one: awesome, third one: really fun) and then over to A's dad's 80th birthday, which was a right posh affair and I was very glad that I was wearing my new suit. We drank very well and enjoyed good food; a meal which costs in excess of £500. It's a whole different world.
