Took Mum shopping so, you know, starting the new year as we mean to go on.
A and I got our diaries out and, aware that we're about to get into the routine where she gets up at 5.30am and goes to bed early, and I'm teaching from 3pm-9pm plus all manner of gigs. booked up a bunch of holidays for the year - Norfolk, Dorset and Budapest. It also means I can book in tour dates without feeling guilty, knowing we have confirmed time together.
Confirmed a performance of HOP in a lovely post theatre in Essex.
Wrote for 10 hours solid today and it felt great, the HG play is becoming something rather...different.
