Now the 'middle' primary school is on a Thursday, my Friday's don't feel like such a stress anymore, which is almost a shame as I secretly enjoyed the challenge. Still, the first school today was awesome - everyone is onside, students and teachers and I always feel so welcome.
Because of locations, I now have a 2-hour break in the middle of my day but it's not worth me going home, so I cashed in a bunch of wages at the bank, got my haircut and replied to my emails whilst eating a baguette in a car park. Easy times, but not sure if I can get my haircut *every* week.
The next school was as lovely as always, and then an evening student cancelled at an hours' notice (for the second time this year) so I was forced to send a stroppy email to them.
Private lesson with one of my original students was an absolute cracker, and then a double private lesson with one of my newbies was great but exhausting.
Basically, left the house at 7.30am, home by 9pm. It's all drums, but I've got shows to write and edit.
