I mean, the venues for the HOP tour are massive. Seriously massive. And ticket sales aren't great. If I had these sales for Edinburgh I'd be thrilled, but these venues are about triple the size and I'm still missing a couple of singers - I've got Dan and James for pretty much everything, but Rachel and Mel are only really there for the second half of the run of shows. Josie is keen, and is brilliant (and really fun to work with) but also so busy because she's talented, and talented people get busy. Possibly have her for Newcastle and Manchester, though.
Either way, my head is been busy working out all of this, along with the re-write of the show to add more bits to it - it seems to be okay.
Also, learning Greg's massively complex songs for Sunday are stressing me out a little because there's so many stops/starts/time signature changes every eight bars...it's getting there, though and I'll be a better drummer for it.
Spent the day teaching, obviously. 8.30am start at the primary school (awesome), private lesson at the college (really awesome - proper great student who gets my ideas), drum club at the college (only one person attended, felt awkward), private lesson (exhausting because the kid has so much energy...taught him how to play disco, though, which is an achievement) and final private lesson (was fine). Took mum shopping in the middle of all that.
And then back to stressing about the show.
