...and back to teaching! But with my two regular Saturday students (a mum and her son) who are both a joy, it was lovely to be back.
After that, went and played jazz for a few hours with my fellow teacher chums - nice lunch, good tunes, it's how Saturday afternoons should be. I get to show off a bit, as do the others and we enjoy much laughter.
In the evening caught up with good friends Josie (who is doing dry-ish January really badly, but is always awesome company), Stu (a comedian friend/sometime drum student, who is doing dry January really well) and Alan (who would never do dry January). Sank a few beers and made creative plans, but it was mostly about the beers.
