Snowing outside, my two students both offered to rearrange our lessons but I don't like to turn down the work so went for it anyway. Was fine, I've got a Volvo, it's basically a tank.
First lesson was with Tim, who I haven't seen in 4 years. A cajon lesson, as he got himself one at Christmas. Great to catch up, he's a talented muso (he literally plays everything) so he was easy enough to teach and his wife cooked us a lovely lunch afterwards.
Then to give a first lesson to Graham, who used to be my manager about 15 years ago - at the time a great friend who I'd go to gigs with most weeks but we drifted out of touch. Fantastic to catch up, and he's getting into the drumming thing. This one may take a few weeks, but he's getting there.
Got back, spoke to Mira (a Belgian girl I met in China), started working on a show for her...
