Had a wonder around Ely, partly to pay in the cash from last week's acting work, and partly to see if there's a nice quirky little shop that I could do some part-time work in as I'm very much against the idea of spending time in an office again. No luck, as much as I'm meeting somebody about a nice quirky shop post in Cambridge tomorrow, but I realised just how lovely Ely is - the people, the vibe of it all.
Got back, confirmed another lounge show and then headed over to the Junction for drummer sacking number 32. This time it was The Leisure Society; a wonderful, intelligent band who seemed quite awkward about sacking me as they're so nice, but it was still a good one. I like them very much.
Got back and washed all of my clothes, because I won't get a chance over the next month or so. I'm an organised lad, sometimes.
Currently emailing yet more bands for the film.
