Up so early, for my new short-term, part-time teaching assistant post, helping out autistic kids with music and other subjects. Just three days a week, doesn't interfere with my drum teaching stuff or any gig plans (done by 3pm), there until July, a little extra cash for the fringe pot.
An intimidating college, first time I've had to work in one like that. The kids really do have a sense of aggression about them, and a majority of them laugh when I walk into the room. Other than that, fine.
After that, great drum lesson with one of my regulars, and then another decent lesson.
Superb evening rehearsal for Little Sparks, this is turning into a superb show - amazing, amazing cast.
