The lack of confirmed freelance work has concerned me a little, of course it has, but there's so many things in the pipeline - it looks like I won't have any work at all, or too much of it.
Pretty much spent the day at my laptop, chatting to various companies, whilst also sorting out one or two comedy/theatre/band things for next year. 2018 will be great.
Then off to Northants for our first post-China gig. Experimented playing without any toms, just a bass drum, snare, couple of cymbals. Seemed to work, but we perhaps put in too much (pretty much all) new material tonight. Long, long night, not sure how because it's not that far away.
