Finally paid my tax, now that they've accepted my second draft of my return. That shouldn't have taken that long. But still, did it with 7 days to spare. Just sayin'...
I feel good today, some lovely emails with lovely opportunities have popped into my inbox, more on them soon if they develop but a coffee I've been invited to on Monday morning should be interesting. I need to learn how to enjoy coffee like other adults do.
Tour show selling well, but even if it totally sells out I could still make a loss. Maybe a kickstarter type campaign is in order, not sure, I haven't done one since the 50 Ways... film so well over a year ago but still, not sure. The idea of corporate sponsorship hasn't really worked. Either way, this tour will be quite an adventure - the more I think about it, the more I shudder.
Paced around the house a lot this morning, running through various routines. At the show on Saturday night I really messed up the Colchester rant, which is bizarre because I've had that for years. I just need to be a little sharper, but I've got plenty of chances to do so. The show has 2 props; went to Poundland to buy them and they had them both which is a relief - and nice that my total expenditure for this production is £2.
I'm probably feeling happy because I've finished one book and enjoying reading another and we're still in January. It's like I've just discovered reading...it's pretty cool, I'd highly recommend it.
Took Mum shopping and let her talk about the past for about 3 hours, and then back to finish the structure of the football novel, which really excites me. I need to write it all up, at the moment it's written in notepads (my new favourite thing to do, alongside reading) but it'll be a masterpiece and the making of me and all that when I finally get around to it...
