Last night was great, and how lovely to 'hang out' with somebody who totally gets how busy I am and is cool with it?
Any spring in my step though was soon cut by a slow day in the office in which nobody spoke at all for 7 hours and it just felt tense and slightly weird. I'm glad I'm only a freelancer, who is there willingly (I get paid by the hour) and not actually tied into that. Horrible.
Confirmed 3 more shows for next June, and 1 for February. FH are suddenly booking me up too. Basically, 2017 is going to be crazy.
Still need to write the play that is being performed in 23 days time in Cambridge. And cast it. I'll do that this weekend, hopefully.
Evening rehearsal with We Are Sound was awesome, some lovely Afrobeats going on there.
