Took me a while to get started today, one of those mornings where I knew I had SO much to do but as a result spent the first hour and a bit procrastinating and achieving little apart from buying breakfast from a Co-Op I've only just found that's so near to the house.
Realising that my novel launch is really bloody soon, and that Rich needs a final copy (obviously) for it to go to print, I spent 8 hours or so reading over it. I'm still tweaking it now...will it ever be ready? This might have to be the draft that goes out.
Evening over to the studio for the charity album stuff. Steve's new arrangement his brilliant, and Jess is an INCREDIBLE singer...wow. The loudest voice I've ever heard, she just belts it out like an old soul mama even though she's only in her late twenties. I've not worked with or seen her for about 5 years since our gigging days, it was fantastic to catch up. She is such a talent, and available for projects too which has got me thinking...
