Back in the studio for the Freewheeler stuff, today we had Griff and Gaf in. Got through Lyin' Eyes, even though it's the longest song in the history of music. Well, it feels like it. It was tight, anyway, we're good and we know what we're doing. As they are both such brilliant vocalists we used them as much as possible, having them as backing singers on loads of other bits. As an album, this is sounding totally amazing. Career-defining, evening. 

Picked up the PA, grabbed some dinner and then over to the Red Bull for the first of 3 nights there for Side Streets Festival. It's a festival I've co-organised with my landlord/housemate Edd, to raise money for PHA, which his late wife died from. The first night: stand-up. Brilliant, brilliant evening...sold out, packed audience, 4 amazing acts. A loud, sweaty, perfect comedy gig that it was a joy to be the MC for. Just great.
