Worked from home - got 6 hours of good stuff done I think. By good stuff, it was mostly tidying up stuff and ideas I'd had already.
Messaged Deacon Blue to see if they'd be up for me writing a musical based on their songs. They haven't replied yet.
Brilliant, long phone meeting with Claire about the Christmas musical. She loves the script, loves the songs, has plenty of time and experience and is willing to pretty much take this totally off my hands. If this works out we could build a really good working relationship for the future here. Just need to get a cast - got my lead actor confirmed, just need the other 3 now.
February tour is looking pretty good, and signed on the dotted line for my 2 night run at Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival.
Evening was supposed to meet up with an old mate, but having got to the pub I had a call saying that he'd been rushed to hospital with chest pains. Not a heart attack, fortunately, but just a reminder that life is short. I'm very grateful he's okay.
