We got drunk last night watching TV (well, I did, A is still on medication) and then I accidentally organised a charity gig. Got it confirmed by the venue this morning, which confused me at first as I don't remember sending the email in the first place. Turns out when I'm drunk, I'm very charitable.
Three private lessons (first one: fine, if tired student, second one: awesome, third one: new student - but who is actually a parent of one of school pupils, great, great fun, so enthusiastic).
Then spent four hours organising this charity gig properly - making the posters, social media stuff, telling the students, booking musicians and time slots. A lot more work than you think. And I think, too, as I often forget about the admin.
Can't really go out as A needs someone to be around as she recovers, so we watched all of series 6 of Peep Show on Netflix. Still a nice way to spend an evening.
