With my Friday schools not needing me back until next week, this was my final 'slow' day before things get crazy again. I'm being pushed a little by a BBC contact to submit something for a new scheme, even if it's an older piece, so last night messaged Liz (former Blue Peter host) and Alan to see if they're about this weekend, which they are, so spent a chunk of the day rewriting this old play for the radio.
That, alongside planning next week's lessons and various bits of admin took up the day, a nice mix of creativity and business stuff.
Taught my one private lesson for the day, which was glorious, then got the train into town for V's yearly birthday piss-up. As always, good fun was had, that I'll regret in the morning.
