Mum's birthday, so took the day out to treat her to do whatever she wanted to. She chose to go to some lake area, where people bring their dogs, and on paper it all looked lovely but it was basically down a farm track and I got worried about my new car, which is very low and I think I now have a chip on my windscreen because of it.
Then took her to various shops in Cambridge, and then late lunch.
BBC recording cancelled tonight as the director was ill, so an unexpected night in with A, with a nice dinner.
