I had a hangover, but it was nothing compared to those who went to the club last night. Missed breakfast (woke up too late), back on the bus and off to the next city. We're travelling a LOT of miles this week.
Lunch was posh but gave me an upset stomach, and then checked in to the latest swanky hotel. Slept for a couple of hours and then back on the bus.
Our venue for tonight, in Kunshan, was stunning. A nice big arts theatre. Soundchecks were long but the dressing rooms were mega fancy.
Performance felt flat tonight and the (sold out) audience were very polite and reserved, but afterwards we were mobbed and swamped by loads of people wanting autographs, merchandise and a lot of selfies...honestly had a bit of a Beatlemania vibe to it.
Back to the hotel for a lovely meal and we had special visitors from the arts world with us - all super important. It turned into a rowdy one, really rowdy. We were drinking traditional Chinese wine which was 42%...I stopped counting at 9 shots.
The Chinese people keep saying I look like Mr Bean.
More drinks with Leo, Catherine and V as the rest of the band went for a massage.
