Got stressed today; the traffic was horrible and when my
schedule is this tight it really gets tricky. Was late picking up Dad for
hospital, but then the hospital was running late because of a scanner breaking
down, so as a result I was late for my freelancing office stuff, which made
everyone a bit angry with me. Can't win, but I've got a real sense of
perspective about it all.
Because of the delay at the hospital, and then the delay
getting me back to work, I was unable to 'nip' over to London to film a sacking
for the film, a sacking which would have been amazing. It's a shame, but again
– nothing is more important than family. I need to get this film finished,
though.
Played a short and slightly odd gig with the band at Kings
College, in which we were mostly background music but the money was great for
the band kitty, and then we all went for dinner, which was lovely.
