Spent the morning working on freelance stuff, and then there was a powercut which put an end to that.
Technically my one day off this week, so took Mum for her weekly food shop whilst continuing to work on 'Attic Boy' - a novel idea, as I waiting for her. Every time I check my phone it's a show offer somewhere, so I switched my phone off for a bit. That felt good.
Evening met up with good friends for a mate's 40th birthday curry; good food and good conversation. Slightly later night than planned...
