Popped in to the office for 5 hours to do a spot of freelancing; nobody spoke as usual and I'm just itching to chat...you know, I'm quite excited by stuff at the moment, the tour and all that.
With my spangly new website looking lovely, I sent out another batch of emails for the murder mystery show, the solo show etc, it's all busy at the moment but from June onwards there are too many gaps.
Evening headlined the comedy night at a local university. They billed me quite extensively, there was a bit of hype to the extent I was a little embarrassed. It was fine, really - students are tricky audience members, they're the quietest and don't see the problem in playing with their phones throughout the whole show...I was watching the audience during the other acts and I couldn't believe just how unsociable this crowd was. I woke them up a bit, but there was a live and very loud band playing upstairs so it was a bit of a battle. Resorted back to older material when I felt like it was drifting a bit and got laughs in all the right places even if that was far from smooth.
