16 years ago today I played my first ever gig as a drummer. It's still a night I remember well, and even though the band were (in retrospect) not great, it's life changing stuff.
Just the two shows today, which in the scale of things felt a bit like a day off. Did the whole of 'Least of Your Problems...' without caffeine - it was still bloody fast, though. Had a nice audience, 11 people in, it worked well.
Went to see a few other shows of varying quality, and met up with my new comedy pal, Friz and his friend to see a stand-up show.
50 Ways... well, it's a Friday crowd, isn't it? I had 17 in, but their drunken enthusiasm sometimes distracted from the subtle nature of the show. It was mostly the 3 ladies at the front, they were the most annoying. It was fine, especially financially, but I hate weekend crowds.
